The donor of the Qianmiao project, Zeng Yong, shared his many years of charity history focusing on the field of children's education and traditional culture, and cultivated a group of talents with a Chinese heart and learning ability for the Chinese nation. As one of the co-sponsors, Zhou Weiyan, director of Beijing Yongzhen Public Welfare Foundation, said that the Qianmiao Plan is a long-term and large-scale system project. The first phase of the soon-to-be-launched Qianmiao Plan will conduct the first public recommendation and selection of "Qianmiao Seeds" for 20 national poverty-stricken counties, and follow-up cultivation of the selected "Qianmiao Seeds" for 7-13 years until its university Graduation; at the same time help to promote education equity, share scientific learning methods with children and teachers in poor areas, improve children's learning interest and efficiency, and allow more children to enjoy high-quality educational resources.

Qianmiao plans to combine top-level scientists, educators and other professional forces concerned with the growth of children and children to build a high-standard mentor team and build a "Chinese heart + learning ability" talent training system. At the scene, experts and scholars from the National Thousand Talents Program, Peking University and East China University of Science and Technology shared the outstanding issues and challenges facing children's social work and education for poverty alleviation, and explained their understanding of education equity from different perspectives and different work practices.
