On June 9, 2017, Ms. Zhou Weiyan, Director of the Child Friendly Community Working Committee of China Community Development Association and Chairman of Beijing Yongzhen Charity Foundation attended the 2017 China Community Governance Innovation Forum hosted by the China Community Development Association as an expert and presented at the venue. The event was held in Zhuhai, with more than 20 national experts and leaders, more than 200 grass-roots cadres, and social organization professionals participating.

The China Child-Friendly Community Guide (Draft) has developed 15 evaluation indicators and 46 detailed rules around the three major sections of government-friendly, space-friendly and service-friendly, and has drawn a clear blueprint from the top to the ground for the construction of an exemplary Chinese child-friendly community. among them:

The policy-friendly guide includes "led by the government at the street / town level or above", "the financial supporting budget and supervision and management mechanism for public services for inclusive children", etc .;

The space-friendly guide includes "planning and construction of community public spaces in line with children's physical and psychological needs at different stages of development", "encouraging tailored, diverse, and humane design to create ecological and natural environments suitable for children and their families And human social environment "," encourage children to participate in the design and maintenance of public spaces, and encourage the community to listen to and adopt children's opinions ";

The service-friendly guide emphasizes the establishment of a professional community of child workers, linking social work with education, and providing continuous inclusive services and support for all children aged 0-18 and their families in the community, including “Community public spaces are available daily The development of normalized inclusive child and family service projects "," emphasis on the inheritance and innovation of local culture and Chinese traditional culture "," encourage parents and children to establish self-organization, and establish children's committees ".

Since the establishment of the guidelines on March 23, the Office of the China Child Friendly Community Promotion Program has organized a number of rounds of discussions with experts from various fields, covering topics from grassroots towns, international organizations, public policies, children's rights, children's education, community building, Social work, urban planning, architectural design, property management companies, community resident representatives and many other constructive opinions and wisdom.
